Happy Birthday Baby Girl!

My little sweetie pie is one year old! It makes me so sad that she won't stay a little tiny baybuuh forever. It is fun to see her personality start to develop though! We didn't stick with the traditional Hawaiian birthday party and rent a big bouncy house, or blow hundreds of Benjamins on decorations, party favors and food, but our small little princess get together was a fun way for us to celebrate! Maybe we can make eight years old the significant birthday party.. it's an important one! Evie truly is our little Princess!

Special ED Easter Egg hunt

The neighborhood really enjoyed our mini egg hunt. The Easter Bunny came while Auntie Michelle was teaching a lesson about the resurrection which seemed to be over most kids heads.. Ky thought the reason we celebrated Easter was because of his birthday.. which, he thinks every holiday is.
Evie didn't hunt for the eggs that the bunny hid, she resorted instead, to taking them out of her friend's baskets when they were not looking.. pretty smart... all the fruits, none of the labor!

Spring time is in the air

The kids had their fill of Easter fun with a couple parties this year... (we didn't even make it to all the ones we were invited to, which were a lot). We decided to let the kids dye Easter eggs and go to one egg hunt. It was a lot of fun. Now that Ky Ky is older, he can do the egg hunt by himself and dye his own eggs. He had a lot of fun doing this with all the Special ED kids (this is how they refer to our buildings in TVA because we are together pretty much all the time) and a few other neighbors.
On Easter morning, i thought it would be fun to put some Easter Bunny footprints on the floor with a stencil and baby powder, upon seeing it after he woke up, Kylin was very angry and wanted to know who make the giant mess! It was so funny, Axel and I busted up laughing. Kids say the darndest things!
